Dick Minim Stands Firm Against Social Capital Markets

Dick Minim, of the East Coast Minims, is all in a twitter about Sean's post at Tactical Philanthropy on the future of social capital markets. I shudder at Sean's ideal, that of foundation people listening to a road show of nonprofits in some hotel ballroom, and going through those tacky pitch books with pie charts and so many numbers. That man writes, I hear, for the Financial Times; no wonder he sees the whole world through stock tables. I suggest you never link to him again. His kind are already spreading like a plague of locusts. Emergence they call it. Self organizing systems. I call it the great unwashed.
