Anya Kamenentz, author of Generation Debt, and now a writer for Fast Company, interviewed me today about social capital markets, the independent sector, and the Givewell saga. Anya's own blog is called, Generation Debt - Student loans, crap jobs, massive debt loads, rising inequality, and how to fight back--plus other writing. Crap jobs? She says "crap jobs" and "rising inequality"? Anya, that is what metrics and capital markets are for! To keep the worker bees slaving away while the investors, managers and owners walk off with the loot. If we are going to fight back, and to flourish as human beings, the Citizen Sector might be the best place to start, on our own time, or in those slack moments allowed by our crap jobs.
