Bill Gates in a speech to be given today at Davos espouses a kinder more creative capitalism that will focus not just on economic growth but on improving the lives of the most disadvantaged. He wants to see the best minds in business freed up to work on helping the poor, much as he himself is freeing up his time for philanthropy. Bravo! Gates is emerging as our contemporary Carnegie, a ruthless capitalist who turn in later years to improving the lot of ordinary people, including those who need help the most. The WSJ reports.
