Writing to me in my capacity as "morals tutor to America's wealthiest families," a representative of Pew Trusts alerted me to an extraordinary experiment in the transmission of family economic values. More than that, the experiment shows how game theory can shed light on the social creation of a common weal going well beyond current theories of economic man as a selfish, atomized, creature.
