People often ask me how I rate my success as a Morals Tutor to America's Wealthiest Families. To answer that question, let me note that I divide my business into two distinct product lines:
- Consensual Morals Coaching
- Nonconsensual Morals Coaching.
In the Consensual Morals Coaching line I have no clients, nor have I had one in the seven years I have held myself out to the wealthy in that role. In fact, prospective clients flee me when I approach them on the street. Several times they have called the Police. (Of course my being naked may prejudice my Ideal Client's initial impression.) So, with respect to Consensual Morals Coaching you could say I have failed up to this point. In the Nonconsensual Morals Coaching arena, I have coached in absentia two Presidents, most of the US Senate and House, the entire Board and Staff of Hudson Institute, many of the key donors at Philanthropy Round Table, and on and on. Have I had a positive impact? Well, I have neither lowered the self-esteem of the wealthy in high places nor improved their behavior. Again, by my own standards I have failed. Still, I am optimistic. Call me a World Class Fool. Practice! Practice! Practice!
