When insiders do this for insiders is it a gift? We sometimes contrast the "market" with "gift culture," but at the top they fuse. What goes around comes around. We could all learn from that. As ex-Washington insider, Catherine Austin Fitts, likes to say, "Don't ask if there is a big conspiracy, just start your own."
