Is this so surprising or did we have it coming?
Does anyone think that the foundation and nonprofit sector has bent over backwords to promote the idea that the private sector can take over the role of government?
We seem to take delight in the charade of patching up a broken social compact with duct tape and chickenwire.

Bradley Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society has done a heck of job. Giving for something as bizarre as public goods in an ownernship society should be voluntary, not exacted through taxes, which are public takings of private goods, and interfere with the free play of the market.
